Just in time for cooler weather, gorgeous fall leaves, and pumpkin-everything, A Crack in the Code: Cybertronic Stories of Rebellion Kickstarter launched. Mocha Memoirs Press is known for its best-selling horror anthologies such as SLAY: Stories of the Vampire Noire and Improbable Truth. Now, we’re bringing a science fiction anthology of short stories featuring robots, cyborgs, and androids going off programming, rebelling in efforts to seek out new experiences, identity, and to follow their dreams.
We need you to help make it happen! The Kickstarter will allow Mocha Memoirs to pay professional SFWA (Science Fiction Writers of America) professional rates to our authors. The crowdfunding campaign has an amazing list of rewards for donations, including a D&D/RPG online game, a meeting with the publisher, and a Tuckerization by bestselling author, John Hartness. In addition, there’s a tier to have a 30-minute meeting with Mocha Memoirs’s publisher and owner, Nicole Givens Kurtz.
