Rock Hill, SC-    Mocha Memoirs Press, a small publishing company focused on amplifying diverse voices in speculative fiction, welcomes award-winning author, Marc L Abbott and acquired the rights to publish his horror novel, Sinister Ascension.

Sinister Ascension is a supernatural coming of age thriller that tells the tale of a college-aged medium caught in the middle of a sinister, demonic plot.

A Brooklyn native and horror author, Marc is the co-author of Hell at Brooklyn Tea and Hell at the Way Station, the two-time African American Literary Award-winning horror anthology.
